shelves

I've had a cozy weekend with my little one, I wish I could say that it was study-free but i've realized that studies every day takes the edge off any stress and pressure, which gives better results. Anyhoo, me and little L have been baking loads of saffran buns and yesterday homemade pizza was on the menu.

A lovely weekend but like most parents I struggle with the daily life puzzle. It's studies, quality time with little L aswell as the hubby, the home (meaning maintaining a presentable and shiny home, at least for 2 days, which has never happened, but still wishing for it though..haha).

Unfortunately being creative and drawing has ended up at the bottom off my to-do list. First and foremost I need a good working-spot with space for the printers and drawing material. Two shelves are up and more shelves will find their way this week I hope. The desk is also a problem, a bigger one is needed. But nuff said about issues, I'm loving shelves and bookshelves right now, it really makes a home. Here are some inspirational pics and soon enough I'll add pics with the result off our home.

Ja, då var det dags att uppdatera "kontoret". Nu med en liten prisvärd furubyrå som jag beställt från ikea. 
Tanken är att den ska få en liten make-over senare. Här är lite inspiration från ikea.se/livethemma.
På den fjärde bilden har de målat möbeln vit och därefter ritat linjer med en vanlig tjock spritpenna.




It's time to update the "office" a bit. Now with a small affordable 3 drawer pine chest I ordered from Ikea.

On the fourth picture they have painted the furniture white and then drawn lines with a regular thick marker pen.

Happy cows!

Today we went to visit a farm to see them release the cows for the summer season they will spend outside. Lots of familys went to see the happy and joyful cows and it was lovely weather. Of course my little girl preferred climbing up the gravel piles and to run around at the farm. She didn't have patience to see more than three jumping cows. Atleast she appreciated the milk and cinnamon buns the farmers served, they weren't that bad.

Idag besökte vi en gård för att se dem släppa korna på betesutsläpp. Massor av familjer var där för att se de glada korna och det var riktigt härligt väder. Självklart föredrog min lilla tjej att klättra uppför grushögarna som fanns och att springa runt på gården. Hon hade inte tålamod att se mer än tre hoppande kor. Åtminstone uppskattade hon mjölken och kanelbullarna bönderna bjöd på, det var inte alls dumt.

For those who aren't Swedish.
It's an old Swedish folklore, witches fly on a broomstick to "Blåkulla" on "Skärtorsdag" purgatory-thursday. 
On easter we dress up our small girls and boys as witches and they get candy or other gifts in return. We call the children dressed as Witches; "påskkärringar".

It's 'Maundy Thursday' or 'Holy Thursday'.'Purgatory-Thursday sounded so evil, almost too evil haha.
Sorry, I know better now :).

Efficient Monday!

My hubby took little L to preschool this morning and baked some

Blueberry scones for us, yummy! 

With the well needed time I have; made an office out of the untidy computer corner, studied lots (unfortunately there's more to come this evening) and done the budget..yippey!..

And another efficient day will follow tomorrow,  I will be photo shooting for my school assignments. Victims are people in town and in stores..Mohahaha ;)

Sambon tog lilla L till förskolan i morse och bakade blåbärsscones till oss, mums! Med extratiden gjorde jag; 

ett kontor av den annars stökiga datorhörnan, pluggade mycket på förmiddagen( tyvärr en del kvar ikväll) och gjort budgeten(mindre roligt).Och en annan effektiv dag väntar i morgon!  jag kommer att fotografera på stan för fotouppgifter till mina kurser. Motiven eller (offrena) är människor i stan och de som pysslar med någon form av affärsverksamhet .. Mohahaha ;)

Spring!

My poor little girl has been wearing thick bulky clothes most of her outdoor life. Oh, I wish it was spring now. No unpleasent colds, no snow and no ice. Just sunshine, bird songs and the lovely scenery the spring usually offers. I'm longing for my favorite season! Can you tell? :)

New prints!

I've been working on some prints lately and here they are.

And more to come when I can squeeze in some time for it! For the moment being, I have to focus on my daughter's preschool introduction and complete my school assignments and exams.
